New Connexions UMC seeks to live Christ’s words to love one another. Through the Care Team, this desire takes many forms:
- Visits, meals, transportation to help each other out when life gets complicated
- Staying Connected with bi-monthly Newsletter, special mailings, delivering gifts
- Sunshine Cards mailings: Birthdays, Anniversaries, Get Well, We're Thinking of You
- Prayer Blankets to enfold someone with our warmth and love
- Knitting Together to share a special time while crafting with our hands
- Winter-long Mitten Tree on our Main St sidewalk so no one needs to go without a hat, scarf, or mittens
- Annual Angel Tree for gifts to those who need a little extra
The Care Team is all of us caring, praying, listening, considering needs and thinking of ways to meet those needs. God is faithful; we are grateful for that and for each other.
